A world music extravaganza featuring 12 acts from around the world on three stages: Calypso Rose, the legendary Queen of Calypso; Brooklyn's own psychedelic surf cumbia band Chicha Libre; New Orleans' funky Hot 8 Brass Band; Bollywood's Sufi pop idol Kailash Kher's Kailasa; Barcelona's rumba catalana mestizos La Troba Kung-Fu; swinging French chanson band L & O; Brazil's samba soul innovator Marcio Local; Chicago's Occidental Brothers Dance Band International (highlife/rumba); southern Iranian trance music and dance master Shanbehzadeh; Canadian Inuit vocal experimentalist Tanya Taqag; France's electric Mediterranean dance band Watcha Clan.
